Dr Coleman is a double board certified medical doctor, with extensive experience and expertise in minimally invasive surgery, and board certified gynecologic surgeon with over 16 years experience and currently practicing in McLean Virginia and Chevy Chase, Maryland.
She holds medical licenses in Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia and has performed 20,000 plus procedures with meticulous technique and attention, minimizing tissue trauma to ensure expedite recovery with minimal downtime.
Dr Coleman enjoys continued academic and intellectual stimulation as a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. Dr Coleman was born in Ghana where she first attended Alsyd Academy & then Acosombo International School and consistently performed at the top of her class. Her family moved to the United States in 1996. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating through an accelerated program and obtained her medical degree (MD) from Medical College of Virginia, School of Medicine. After a 4 year residency at Sinai Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, she has continued to demonstrate her passion for learning and remains at the forefront of advances in the application of laser and regenerative medicine in improving dermatologic conditions affecting women.

She is an avid reader, a mother of two amazing children and enjoys having intellectually stimulating and meaningful conversations with familiar and strangers alike. She is married to Dr. Nathan Coleman, with whom she shares her joy for life, travel and adventure.
