How to prepare for your hair stimulation appointment

1. Tell us about your medical history and any medications you are taking

Ensure you’ve disclosed any medical conditions, allergies, or medications (including supplements) with us.  Let us know  if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to conceive.

2. Avoid Hair Treatments

Avoid coloring, perming, or chemically treating your hair at least 2 weeks before the procedure.

3. Hair Washing

Wash your hair thoroughly with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo the night before your treatment.  Avoid applying any hair products such as gel, hairspray, oils, or mousse after washing.

4. Scalp Preparation

Refrain from excessive sun exposure to your scalp for 2 weeks before the procedure to prevent burns or irritation.

5. Medications and Supplements

You do not have to stop taking Fish oil, Omegas, Aspirin or other blood thinners for your appointment, our laser and treatment protocol avoids excessive discomfort with use of laser assisted delivery of hair serums, biosomes, PRP or exosomes so you don’t have to worry about discomfort or bleeding.

7. Clothing and Comfort

Wear comfortable clothing and ensure your hair and scalp are easily accessible for the treatment.

Avoid wearing jewelry, hats, or hair accessories that may interfere with the procedure.

On Arrival for your hair stimulation appointment-

  1. We will check you in
  2. Examine your hair
  3. Determine if you need any lab work or additional work up
  4. Review the procedure process with you and obtain your approval and consent
  • Areas of the most concern for hair thinning and loss will be treated first with gentle laser which produces a warm sensation to stimulate growth.

  • The permeability of the scalp is increased by our proprietary micro-channeling technology of our  Fotona Laser.

  • Hair growth serums containing amino acids, vitamins and growth factors are then applied evenly.

  • Long wave low level laser stimulation which causes photo-biomodulation to enhance your hair stimulation treatment even further.

  • After your treatment, your hair may feel a bit sticky depending on the type of serums and growth factors applied.
  • Avoid washing scalp and hair for 24-48 hours.
  • Do not apply any products or serums to hair unless recommended by your specialist.
  • Scalp massage is helpful for hair growth and can be performed after 48 hours.
  • Continue to eat a healthy diet and supplement with Nutrafol, Viviscal or Divi Hair for stress related hair loss.
